ePSXe (enhanced PSX emulator) is a PlayStation emulator for x86-based PC hardware with Microsoft Windows or Linux, and now on the Android. It was written by three authors, using the aliases Calb, Demo, and Galtor. ePSXe is closed source with the exception of the application programming interface (API) for its plug-ins.

The version of ePSXe on this site has been preconfigured with a BIOS, video plugin, sound plugin, and settings that are basically set to their lowest. You may fiddle around with the settings a bit if you have a half way decent computer, but this should run reasonably well on most computer as is.
